Danielle loves finding creative ways to connect people to place. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Masters in Planning, and received the OALA and CSLA Student Awards, and the Dalhousie Community Planning Prize. Prior to joining thinc design, Danielle worked as a landscape designer and community planner in Canada and Japan. She has helped develop landscape master plans, First Nation Community plans, and design a number of high profile parks, plazas, streetscapes and mixed-use developments.
Danielle has a passion for digital storytelling, and is the artistic director of the Cities Alive Podcast; an initiative that develops audio stories for a variety of clients and hosts communication workshops for planners and designers. She brings this story lens to design and communicating ideas to create implementable plans for spaces where people can connect to their environment and each other.
