A significant attraction for use of off-highway vehicles on Crown Land centres on the Greens Mountain area, which includes over 800 hectares of Crown Land located to the south of the Hamlet of Gooderham Ontario, in the Municipality of Highlands East.
thinc design was part of team led by David A Clark Consulting to work with members of Council, the Highlands East Trails Committee, and other key stakeholders to develop a Recreation Master Plan for the Greens Mountain area. The primary objective of the master plan was to design a trail system and associated amenities for off-highway vehicles, as well other associated recreation activities including hiking, biking, camping and horse back riding.
As the landscape architects on the team, thinc design is assisting on the trail planning, mapping and amenity design aspects of the study.
