As our Senior Planner Leandra posed so eloquently to the thinc tank on January 3rd,
“How was everyone’s holiday? Should we do a headcount?!”
Of course, getting back into the flow has its challenges. For those fortunate to have had some time off, it can be a swirly haze of indulgence, catch-up, rest, expectations, family antics, traditions old and new, all of the above or not applicable. However, something still ignites a tiny flame of newfound vigour when the calendar year changes.
In 2023, thinc design has a little more to say.
For many years we have grown accustomed to the idea that our work speaks for itself. We take pride in our quality execution but realize our valuable complex thoughts and professional wisdom built over experience were all left behind the scenes.
It’s tough to open up.
To communicate wisdom is to be vulnerable.
We hope to deepen dialogue among our peers and stimulate innovation within our industry by discussing intersectionality and sharing solutions discovered in the unpredictable.
Cheers to embracing growth, fear, play, patience and all the other aspects of the human experience as we continue supporting communities and designing environments for our multifaceted world.
