Sackville Playground is a 1.0 acre (4200 m2) park located centrally within the Corktown neighbourhood with access only along its King Street East frontage. The west side of the park is lined with townhouses (rear yards facing the park), and Adelaide Street East ramp is situated along the north edge of the park. The park is under-utilized, due to a number of factors such as limited accessibility, the deteriorated condition of existing park facilities as well as a lack of play opportunities, and poor lighting. The park is frequented often by dog walkers, although it is not a dogs o -leash park.
