Vineland Neighbourhood Park is located in The Town of Lincoln in the Niagara Peninsula. The park’s design is focused on providing play opportunities for young families / preschool children as well as walking and seating opportunities for local seniors.
The project involved the refinement and detailing of a preliminary concept approved by Council in 2010. The park’s design required the incorporation of a pre-existing loop trail, planting and site furnishings. The final design includes a children’s playground, shade structure, seating, concrete paving, tree planting and wildflowers. The playground is configured to provide children with a variety of play opportunities in an inviting and protected space with an abundance of shade and seating options.
