thinc design worked with the City of Kingston on the revitalization of two parks, Memorial Centre Park and 3rd Avenue Park.
The design for Memorial Centre Park focuses on improvements to the existing playground with additional play opportunities for older children. Other enhancements include improved pathways and circulation, seating opportunities, tree planting and improved integration of the existing splash pad with the adjacent park amenities including an enclosed eating area.
Third Avenue Park addressed improvements to the playground, pathway improvements, and grading to address inadequate drainage, planting and seating.
