The Township of Tyendinaga is a large rural community of 4,538 people, about 212 km east of Toronto. Growth is expected to be low, with a forecast population of 4,915 by 2036.
The Township is well served by a high-quality recreation complex with indoor and outdoor facilities. Even so, the Township and community are interested in improved services and new development, which will partly mean new or upgraded facilities and spaces at the site.

It reflects the community's needs and provides detailed, achievable long-term implementation for parks, trails, recreation facilities and program services.
