This new parkette in an existing North Toronto neighbourhood is part of a new development on a former Toronto District School Board site. The parkette will provide a new playground amenity for the neighbourhood which includes a new playground structure, natural play elements, sand play, grass mound, walkways and planting.
The park design creates both a space for the community while the forms and circulation a dynamic play space for children. The project is was completed in 2014 and will become part of the City of Toronto’s inventory of parks.
