Tyendinaga Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan

    Share

The Township of Tyendinaga is a large rural community of 4,538 people located approximately 212 km east of Toronto. Projected growth in Tyendinaga is generally low, with a population of 4,915 people forecast for 2036.

The Township is well served with a high-quality recreation complex that includes both indoor and outdoor facilities. However, there is both Township and community interest in service improvements and development. To some extent, this will require new and/or upgraded facilities and spaces at the site.

thinc design and Mehak, Kelly and Associates developed a Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan for the Township. The Master Plan provides direction for the next 10 years and builds upon the anticipated Corporate Strategic Plan. The Plan reflects the community’s unique needs and provides detailed, achievable long-term implementation for parks, trails, recreation facilities and program services.
